Where's My Paperwork?

My visa appointment is this Monday bright and early! Unfortunately there is much to stress about still since I have not yet gotten my arrêté de nomination in the mail. This piece of paperwork is very important because it is proof that I have secured a job in France and it is the only way I can get my visa. There has been quite the delay considering the administrators for our schools in France are on their summer vacation.

As it is, the visa situation is stressful! SO much could go wrong.

It can take anywhere from 15-21 days to get your visa and passport back in the mail. My plane tickets are for September 16th, so I already have reason to worry about getting everything in time. [The risk of paying to change the date is worth the awesome prices we got].

In addition to that, I can't change my appointment date because there aren't any available appointments until September 17th! Ahhhhh! So yes, I'm more than slightly freaking out.

A few weeks ago Natalie told me to let her know by August 21 {this Friday} if I still hadn't received my arrêté, but I emailed her yesterday because I feel like Friday and Saturday would be cutting it to close. Especially since there is a six hour time difference between us and France. She said she should be able to get a PDF version of the arrêté. It just makes me wonder why they don't do that for everyone.

Here's to trusting God with everything, even the mail!
